Who doesn’t love a beauty haul? I absolutely love Harvey Nichols and when Nick and I went to Bristol’s Cabot Circus of course I had to pop in and buy some items.
1. Becca Highlight in ‘Champagne Pop’
I have heard so many reviews on how amazing the Becca ‘Champagne Pop’ highlight is and when I was at the till point purchasing my Iconic brush and coconut oil I saw it at the till point and thought I have to try it for myself. It was on the pricey side of what I would normally pay for a highlighter at £32.00 but I thought why not. I do not regret buying this highlighter at all. Its the most pigmented powder highlight I have come across. It’s a bit more on the glam side and I tend to use it only for the evenings as its not really subtle enough for daytime.
Well I haven’t got one bad thing to say about coconut oil. I swear by this stuff. Since I started using it on my skin every night before going to bed I have seen a dramatic difference in the appearance of my skin tone. Its so moisturising and hydrating and I wake up each morning with my skin feeling silky smooth. I don’t just use coconut oil for my face I also use it for the following:
-I apply it on my hair as a hair oil before blow drying it.
-I use it on my cuticles to get rid of the dry skin around my nails.
-I apply it on my lips to keep them soft and its a good base for lipsticks
-I also use it on dry elbows and heels when my skin is slightly cracked.
I would definitely recommend coconut oil to anybody just make sure you buy the 100% version.
3. Iconic London, Evo Brush in No. 002
Lastly in my haul is the Iconic London Evo 002 brush. This particular style is meant to be used for blending, blusher and setting powder. Personally I prefer using this brush for blending in my contouring as I think it works really well. I personally wouldn’t rush out to go and buy a full set of these straight away but Im definitely open to trying them all eventually.
Do you use any of the above products? If so, let me know what you think of them below!
